David Wayne Remington

Prior to becoming an attorney David served his country as an active duty Marine from 1985 to 1991. He continued to serve his country in Rhode Island and North Carolina Army National Guard from November 1997 to January 2004 and again from March 2005 to September 2007. He resigned as First Lieutenant in the JUDGE Advocate Corps for North Carolina National Guard in September 2007. David has served in both wars in the Persian Gulf and has visited more than fifteen countries on four continents. He received his Bachelors of Arts (cum laude) from Roger Williams University in May 2000. He graduated in December 2003 from North Carolina Central School of Law. Mr. Remington has been practicing criminal defense since 2004.
In 2005, David began using the trade name Liberty Law Center for his firm. The use of a trade name served two purposes for the practice; first was to ensure that if David was activated, the practice could continue under another attorney, but the second was to take the focus off of the attorney. A criminal case is about the defendant and the prosecuting witness, not the defense attorney, judge, or state attorney and use of a trade name highlights that important fact. Additionally, as a war vetran, David treasures freedom very deeply and believes that it is worth fighting to maintain your liberty.
